Eight new engineers have recently embarked on their professional journey at Feralpi Lonato del Garda, thanks to the training program “Make the diffHERence,” aimed at young female engineering graduates. This initiative, which represents the second phase of the Technical Graduate Program, involves the integration of participants into the operational departments of the Group’s steel companies. After a period of onboarding, the new colleagues are now active in work teams, with the goal of contributing to the development of projects in the technical area over the coming months.
The Graduate Program is part of a broader strategy for female inclusion and diversity promoted by Feralpi, which aims to increase the proportion of female personnel in core areas by 2027. Antonio Cotelli, Human Resources Director of Feralpi Group, emphasized the importance of skills for corporate competitiveness and expressed confidence in the value that these young engineers will bring to the organization. With over 1,900 employees and a revenue of 1.7 billion euros in 2023, Feralpi continues to pursue its mission of producing sustainable steel while respecting diversity and the environment.
