During a recent press conference, Giuseppe Pasini, president of Feralpisalò, expressed strong dissatisfaction with the current situation of the team and hinted that it may be necessary to move away from Salò. Pasini stated, “If we are uncomfortable, we will look elsewhere and if necessary, we will pack our bags and leave,” expressing disappointment with the lack of consideration received.

Regarding the relationship with the Municipal Administration, the president emphasized that the local government has not shown enough attention to the team. “We will discuss with the new mayor and it would sadden us a lot to leave, but we will be forced to do so because we are not well-regarded here.” Pasini also complained about the lack of assistance in upgrading the Lino Turina stadium, which forced the team to play at Garilli in Piacenza for the entire season, a situation that significantly penalized the club.

Looking to the future, Pasini does not rule out other solutions within the Brescia area if the opportunity to return to Serie B arises again. “If we were to return to Serie B, we must be ready and if necessary, we will consider other options away from here.” One of the options being considered is the Rigamonti stadium.

Despite the heated tone of the press conference, the sporting aspect was also discussed. The just-concluded season saw the Leoni del Garda face their first historic season in Serie B, but it ended with a painful relegation. Regarding coach Marco Zaffaroni, Pasini stated that the coach is considering some offers from Serie B. “Marco is a person of great humility and loyalty, a true professional; he would really like to continue with us, but in these days, he has received some calls from Serie B.”

Pasini concluded by outlining the future goals of the club. The intention is to maintain a solid core of four or five experienced players like Balestrero and focus on the growth of young talents. “The goal will not be to immediately win the championship, but to grow over time and do it as soon as we are ready.”
