Festa dell’Ospite Rescheduled for September 3 with Shows and Fireworks

Due to bad weather that forced tourists and volunteers from local associations to leave Piazza and Lungolago Marconi, last Sunday, during the Festa dell’Ospite, the organizers, Municipal Administration leading the effort, deemed it appropriate to reschedule the festival final for Sunday, September 3rd.

There will be no food stalls, but children can be entertained with the charity fishing game, which will be set up for the occasion in the Associations Hall. The proceeds from the fishing game, organized by San Martino in Calle, will go entirely to benefit the Brazilian boys of Sister Bruna Imelda Sabaini, a Lacisian nun who has been working in Marituba among lepers for over 10 years.

Shows and Fireworks

The evening will conclude around 9 PM at the port, where the jugglers from Gardaland will perform their show, which was canceled “in smoke” last Sunday due to rain. The grand finale will feature fireworks over the water, in front of the Venetian Customs.

The spectacle can be enjoyed even better from the seafront, where the boats of fishermen and locals will gather to witness the conclusion of the Festa dell’Ospite.
