Festa dell’Ospite Weekend: Sailing, Food, Music and Fireworks

Weekend full of sports and fun with the now traditional “Festa dell’ospite”. This year, the event will kick off the first of three gatherings dedicated to tourists and holidaymakers (the other two are the “Feste dell’ospite” in the hamlets of Pai and Albisano), starting right in the city center. Indeed, today starting at 12 PM, the weekend will be vibrant with the sails of the “Regata dei fiori,” a sporting event that will continue the following day, involving boats from the Snipe, Laser, and 4.20 classes.

Start of the events

Beginning at 6 PM, the food stalls will open, managed this year by the officials of Unione Sportiva Torri. The schedule for tomorrow also includes the sailing race and festivities with live music and food stalls.

Final show and closing

Finally, and perhaps this is the most anticipated moment, a fireworks display with pyrotechnics directed onto the lake from the towers of the Castello scaligero, starting at 11:30 PM. An event that every year attracts several hundred people lining the Torresano coastline, eyes turned skywards, ready to enjoy and applaud an extremely captivating show.
