A fire broke out today, Sunday the 13th, inside the former Brunella hotel in Sirmione, near the famous Grotte di Catullo. The flames were extinguished thanks to the prompt intervention of the Fire Brigade, who brought the situation under control. The building, uninhabited for years and awaiting renovation, may have housed someone camping inside, as has occurred in the past.
Initial investigations suggest that the fire may have been caused by a fire lit by a person for warmth or cooking. Fortunately, no injuries or cases of intoxication have been reported among those involved in the incident. Experts are now examining the site to better understand the circumstances that led to the event.
