Fire in Desenzano Destroys Kennel and Rottweiler Breeding Facility

A fire broke out in Desenzano on Wednesday, 8 July, around 4:00 pm, involving an industrial building used as a construction depot and housing a Rottweiler breeding facility. Firefighters were called to contain the blaze and secure the area.

Teams from Salò (APS and a tanker truck), Castiglione delle Stiviere, and the central ABP responded. Operations were carried out with particular caution due to the presence of multiple LPG cylinders in the affected area. The flames damaged a mini excavator and a minivan, with firefighting lasting about 90 minutes, followed by another 90 minutes of cleanup and safety measures.

No injuries or smoke inhalation were reported. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.
