Fire in Lonato del Garda: Firefighters Still Working at Valli Spa

A fire broke out at a Valli Spa warehouse in Lonato del Garda on the night of Tuesday, July 14, prompting the intervention of firefighters. During the response, a smoke column rose from the facility and strong odors consistent with burning plastic were reported, while crews were still working at the time of the incident.

The Collettivo Autonomo Gardesano says it is awaiting results from air monitoring and is calling for soil sampling as well. The group also requests a public statement from the company and says it will send a letter to raise issues and questions received from residents, noting the lack of official communications from the Municipality of Desenzano del Garda; on the same day, another fire was reported in Pian Camuno.
