A fire broke out in the roofing of a private residence in Varone, a district of Riva del Garda, on the evening of Thursday, February 27. The alert was raised around 9:30 PM, and the firefighters from Riva del Garda promptly responded with two fire engines to extinguish the flames. Thanks to their swift action, the damage was limited to the exterior of the structure, and there were no injuries reported among the residents.
The causes of the roof fire are still under investigation by the relevant authorities, including the Carabinieri who were present at the scene of the incident. The situation was quickly brought under control, preventing any potential risks to the safety of nearby residents and passersby.
