Firefighters Battle Rooftop Blaze at Gavardo Bennet Shopping Center
A fire damaged the roof of the Bennet shopping center in Gavardo on Sunday morning, June 7, with the alarm raised around 10:15. Firefighters, assisted by Carabinieri for investigations, responded as flames affected the roof-mounted exhaust vents.
The Salò-based unit deployed a tanker-pump appliance (APS) and a pump truck (ABP), with Paitone providing another APS to support. Fire crews extinguished the blaze and secured the affected system. One person was transported to hospital for evaluation; no condition details were released.
