Fraglia Vela Riva triumphs at the 2025 Star World Championships
Frithjof Kleen, a member of the Fraglia Vela Riva, has claimed the World Championship title in the Star class alongside American Paul Cayard during an exhilarating final held in Split. After six intense races, the two sailors triumphed in the last event, recovering from a challenging start in 14th position to finish with a seventh place that secured their victory by three points over their competitors. This success marks Cayard’s second world title after 37 years and Kleen’s third in his career.
