Franco Gamba Opens Dialogue with Ticket Holders Over Natale Rivano Controversy
Gathered under the wing of Codacons, the eight holders of the «ghost» tickets for the Natale Rivano and Arcense have decided to declare war on the contest organizers. But Franco Gamba, president of the retailers’ association of Unione Commercio e Turismo di Riva and also the primary contact regarding the botched «Natale», has no intention of waging battles with anyone, quite the opposite. After learning of the intentions of the group of «over 300,000» tickets, he says he is fully available to them.
Franco Gamba’s willingness
«I read that lawyer Canestrini from Codacons will request a meeting with us via registered letter. Fine, we await this letter and then certainly meet as soon as possible. We are ready to discuss the issue and to reflect in order to find a solution that satisfies everyone. And the more heads there are to discuss, the easier I believe it will be to find it.
I do not hope that in the meantime anything new will come from the Ministry of Finance, with which we have contacted and explained the situation. This will likely take more time; the investigation will surely be lengthy.
So, I repeat, if together with the ticket holders above the number 300,000 we manage to find a way out, I will be the first to be happy».
