From Roman Times to Toscolano Maderno: Historic Tour and Paper Workshop This June
Toscolano Maderno will host the new program “Dai Romani al potere della Carta,” a guided-tour series with a paper-making workshop. The event opens with a preview on Tuesday, June 2 at 10:00 and continues Mondays at 10:00 from June 8 to October 5. Aimed at residents and visitors, the route starts at the Villa Romana dei Nonii Arrii and includes the Church of Saints Peter and Paul and the Sanctuary of Madonna del Benaco, illustrating Roman presence and the area’s historical layers.
The morning program also features a practical papermaking workshop by MC Hand Paper, plus visits to an artisanal workshop and a private limonaia opened by Le Abusive. The price for the guided tour and workshop is €25 per person; €15 for either the tour or the workshop alone, free for under-16s. Places are limited, and tours are available in English and German.
