A fugitive arrest occurred in Desenzano del Garda, where a 54-year-old Romanian man was captured after more than a year of being at large. The individual was wanted for stalking and personal injury related to incidents dating back to 2021. Initially convicted, he had been granted probation with social services, but this measure was revoked at the beginning of the month, leading to the issuance of a prison warrant by the public prosecutor.
The local police launched an investigation to locate him, following reports that placed him in a bar on Via Garibaldi. By identifying the license plate of his vehicle and monitoring electronic checkpoints in the area, the officers were able to track him down and proceed with the arrest.
