Fulvio Bendinoni, 61 years old and originally from Gargnano, has embarked on an ambitious cycling journey to Istanbul, covering approximately two thousand kilometers. In his first leg, he traveled 227 kilometers, reaching Chiarano in the province of Treviso. After having to pause his endeavor last year due to back problems, Fulvio resumed training in July and has now set off with his gravel bike, equipped to tackle the route solo. His brother Ivan is tracking him remotely via a geolocation platform.
This journey is not just a sporting challenge but a personal adventure for Fulvio, who plans to return in January, passing through the Greek islands. Over the years, he has already completed several significant trips across various European countries. “Every stop is an adventure,” Fulvio states, expressing his desire to arrive at his overnight accommodations by evening.
