Funding for culture in Brescia: ten supported projects

The Lombardy Region has recently announced funding for 10 cultural projects in the territory of Brescia, with a total investment of €233,120. This initiative is part of the “Single Notice Culture 2025” program, aimed at promoting the enhancement and accessibility of cultural heritage. Among the beneficiaries are significant initiatives such as archaeological research in Prevalle and the transformation of the “Margherita Biondi” Library in Darfo Boario Terme into a multifunctional cultural center, alongside other projects ranging from archaeology to material culture.

The regional assessor for Culture, Francesca Caruso, emphasized the importance of this funding in strengthening the cultural identity of the province, highlighting how each project contributes to telling a broader narrative related to the local heritage. The resources are also allocated to libraries and ecomuseums, with the aim of creating inclusive and innovative spaces for the community. This effort is part of a larger strategy involving 43 projects throughout Lombardy, with a total investment of over €1 million in regional culture.
