A fundraising campaign has been launched in the community of Arco to support the children of Zoe Anne Guaitivić, a young mother of 39 who tragically passed away on the night of May 4th to 5th at the Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento, along with the child she was expecting. The initiative, promoted by friends and acquaintances of the family, aims to provide tangible support to the two young ones, Tia, aged 8, and Nihil, aged 1, through acts of solidarity that can make a difference during such a difficult time. The crowdfunding campaign on GoFundMe has already raised over €17,000 thanks to more than 400 donations, exceeding the organizers’ expectations.
Rodolfo Matteotti, one of the promoters of the initiative, emphasized how the community’s response has been extraordinary and unexpected. “Honestly, we didn’t even expect to get close to such an amount,” Matteotti stated, highlighting the importance of collective support in showing solidarity to Tia and Nihil. The funds raised will be used to purchase essential goods and grocery vouchers agreed upon with the family. The ultimate goal of the campaign is set at €20,000, with the intention of providing lasting support to the two children.
