The Garda Karate Team has recently achieved a significant recognition thanks to Lisa Maffizzoli, who won the silver medal in the -59 kg category during a high-level competition. The event took place in an atmosphere of intense competitiveness, but the young athlete demonstrated great maturity and skill on the tatami. This result allows her to qualify directly for the Italian Junior Championships, which will be held from November 21 to 23 at the Matteo Pellicone Olympic Center in Ostia Lido, the official venue of FIJLKAM. In addition to Lisa’s performance, Alessandro Trischitta also participated in the competition in the -55 kg category, showing determination despite not qualifying. The team expressed gratitude to FIJLKAM for organizing the event and to the supporters who back the athletes.
