Speeches and official statements
In his greeting, Councillor Albertoni, highlighting that “this is my first official appearance at a dialect poetry contest,” expressed his full satisfaction with the organization and results of this competition, which both he and Lombardy regional president Roberto Formigoni view with high interest. He emphasized that throughout his mandate, he will be especially supportive and actively involved in these cultural initiatives, participating directly on site, in these listening workshops, rather than waiting for people to come to the Region.
“From you,” he underlined, “I expect not only proposals and stimuli but also criticisms, so that this new dialectal culture can grow and develop further in Lombardy.”
The contest saw 24 participants who submitted a total of 69 entries.
