Garda DOC Drives Growth and Innovation in Lake Garda’s Food and Wine Scene

Consorzio Garda DOC ended 2025 reporting growth after intensifying promotional activity and modernizing its territorial narrative to respond to market changes. The denomination focused resources on strategic projects to boost wine quality recognition and brand identity.

Key initiatives included participation at Vinitaly 2025—where the Garda DOC stand, led by enologist Sissi Baratella, adopted an interactive approach—and the fourth Garda Wine Stories press tour, which reinforced links among producers, media and the horeca/GDO channel. A three‑year “Eccellenze DOP” project promoted the denomination in Italy and abroad through tastings and study trips, while television and EU‑level programs increased visibility of local food and wine. For 2026 the Consorzio plans to strengthen commercial presence and develop experiential communication to further valorize wine, territory and cultural heritage.
