Garda Karate Team Shines at 2026 Italian Open in Riccione

Garda Karate Team competed at the Open d’Italia 2026 in Riccione, held at PlayHall and featuring over 1,600 athletes from around 300 clubs. The team traveled on the “YuukiBus” to participate in the FIJLKAM-sanctioned event, which followed WKF’s elimination and repechage format across eight competition areas.

Key results include Fabio Venosta finishing fifth after reaching the third-place final and Luca Arici, who advanced through repechage to place ninth. Other team members, including Isabella Vigevani, Luca Arici, Francesca Viviani, Martina Forgioli, Lisa Maffizzoli, and Alessandro Trischitta, competed against national and international opponents.
