Garda Maçç 2025: triumphs and challenges in Desenzano del Garda
The Garda Maçç 2025 regatta featured the participation of sixteen boats and took place along the route connecting Desenzano del Garda to Riva, with a buoy at Ponale. The event, supported by the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV), showcased the crews’ skills under varying conditions, culminating in the victory of Black Arrow, helmed by Michele and Walter Caldonazzi from CV Torbole, who crossed the finish line after 10 hours and 37 minutes. The second and third places went to Keassodi Max Tosi and Back in Black by Francesco Anselmi. In the X2 category, the team Satanasso led by Michele Pasotti dominated the standings, also finishing in fourth place overall.
Despite some organizational challenges due to uncertain weather, the committee ensured the regatta proceeded, celebrating the crews’ energy under a starry sky in Desenzano. Raffaele Valsecchi, a historic figure of the event, expressed satisfaction with the successful outcome: “Everyone was happy and having fun,” while Andrea Ferrari, helmsman of Poison, described this edition as memorable for its climatic challenges. The Garda Maçç thus reaffirms itself as a true test of endurance in water sports, where passion and skill intertwine at the heart of the lake.
