Garda Salò Rowing Club Clinches Five Wins at Regional Novice A Championships
Canottieri Garda Salò dominated the Regional Esordienti A Championships under FIN Lombardia, held April 11-12 at AcquaHub Pia Grande in Monza and April 18-19 at Piscina Daniela Samuele in Milan, securing five overall wins. Asia Denti swept the 100, 200 and 400 freestyle events, while Giada Emma Grezzini won the 100 and 200 breaststroke and finished third in the 400 IM.
Other results for the Garda squad included Alberto Di Francesco placing fifth in the 1500 freestyle and Beatrice Prosperi fifth in the 200 breaststroke (Esordienti A, 2014 cohort). The meet drew more than 800 participants from across Lombardy, and coach Enrico Pini commented on the group’s performances.
