Garda Scammers Mimicking Police Offer Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They pose as Carabinieri when contacting hoteliers, shop owners, artisans, and restaurants in the middle and upper Garda areas, offering subscriptions to the arma magazines.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to belong to the finance police, the police, the fire brigade, or the Comune police.

Recognizing Scams

They often propose subscriptions to nonexistent magazines or publications that have nothing to do with the law enforcement.
