Garda Scammers Pose as Police, Offer Fake Magazine Subscriptions

They pose as Carabinieri when calling hoteliers, shopkeepers, artisans, and restaurants in the Middle and Upper Garda regions, offering subscriptions to the army magazines.

These are not military personnel, but scammers who, from time to time, claim to be part of the financial police, police, fire brigade, or the City Hall officers.

How to recognize scams
