Garda Ten-Mile Race: Pini and Lutteri Win 53rd Edition in Moniga
The 53rd Diecimiglia del Garda, organized by Gs Montegargnano, took place on Sunday, June 7 on the first hill of Parco Alto Garda Bresciano, with more than 100 runners and a five-lap circuit totaling 8 km 40 m. In the men’s race, Daniele Pini of Mico Rodengo Saiano won in 27:32 (3:24/km), ahead of teammate Matteo Rosa at 27:58 and Michele Bertoletti at 29:04, with Alessandro Fontana (30:02) and Marco Manini (30:15) completing the top five.
In the women’s race, Arianna Lutteri of Km Sport won in 31:42, followed by Angela Girelli (32:15), Silvia Casella (32:57), Marisa Bertoli (33:16) and Monica Morstofolini (36:03). Before the start, a minute of silence was observed for Massimiliano “Max” Galeazzi. Veteran Osvaldo Faustini competed in M70, and during the awards, Umberto Livotto received the Bruno Bonomelli trophy, presented by Ottavio Castellini and instituted by the Archivio Storico dell’Atletica Italiana.
