The presentation of Garda Trentino CleanUP Days took place at the picturesque Belvedere di Nago. This initiative, dedicated to collecting abandoned waste in nature, represents a novelty in the tourism sector of Garda Dolomiti Azienda per il Turismo S.p.A. The event will take place from April 25th to 28th.

Numerous personalities participated in the presentation, including the Deputy Mayor of Nago-Torbole, Sara Balduzzi, the Mayor of Drena, Giovanna Chiarani, the Councilor of Ronzo-Chienis, Marta Cavalieri, the Councilor for Tourism of Tenno, Ilaria Bagozzi, the President of Garda Dolomiti Azienda per il Turismo S.p.A., Silvio Rigatti, and the Director, Oskar Schwazer.

“The Garda Trentino CleanUP Days are an extremely important project that the Municipality of Nago-Torbole shares with great pride together with the other municipalities in the area. It is essential to preserve the environment in which we live: from maintaining trails to cleaning natural areas, all of this contributes to fully enjoying the surrounding landscapes. For this reason, it is important to promote initiatives like this and raise awareness among the population on these issues, educating even the youngest from an early age,” said Deputy Mayor Sara Balduzzi.

The initiative is part of the “CleanUP Tour” circuit, promoted by the non-profit association PATRON, which involves different destinations in the Alpine region. It is open to all those who wish to contribute independently or in groups to the preservation of the surrounding nature, whether they are residents or guests.

“This event, which is coming to Garda Trentino for the first time, is perfectly in line with our goal of becoming a smart and green destination. For several years, we have been working in this direction, through infrastructural actions such as the Bus&Go and Autostop projects, and activities within the Outdoor Park, raising awareness among operators and residents about adopting good practices. A special thanks goes to the municipalities, the Valley Communities, and all the associations that will participate in this initiative,” said President Silvio Rigatti.
