The Garda Trentino Half Marathon is gearing up for a record-breaking edition, set to take place on Sunday, November 9, with the participation of 6,245 runners from 77 nations, solidifying the event’s status as one of the most anticipated in the running scene. The competition will start and finish in Riva del Garda, where participants will tackle a scenic course, beginning at the Palafiere in the Baltera area. The day will also feature other competitions, including the recreational Run4Fun event, a 5-kilometer race, and the tenth edition of the 10K, in addition to the highlight of the day: the 21K, which will see high-caliber athletes such as Burundians Louis Intunzinzi and Jean Marie Vianney Niyomukiza going head-to-head. There are several new features, as the half marathon course has been partially modified to enhance the athletes’ experience. After passing through iconic locations such as the historic center of Arco and the Sarca River, runners will head towards the finish line near the Giardini di Porta Orientale. The associated events will kick off on Friday, November 7, with the opening of the Expo at the Palafiere, where participants can collect their race numbers and take part in culinary and entertainment initiatives leading up to the eve of the race.
