Garda Trentino Marks 100 Years of the Tourist Board With Events at MAG and New Exhibitions

A 100-year tourism anniversary programme for the Trentino Garda’s “Azienda di soggiorno” was presented today, Thursday 18 June, at Palazzo Martini in Riva del Garda. The initiative is being promoted by Garda Trentino Sviluppo together with Apt Garda Dolomiti, with support from local institutions, and was presented during a press conference attended by Mayor Alessio Zanoni, Apt president Silvio Rigatti, Garda Trentino Sviluppo president Enzo Bassetti and MAG director Matteo Rapanà.

The calendar includes the exhibition “Visitate il Garda!” at the MAG from 4 July to 18 October (opening 3 July at 20:30), and a talk titled “Alto Garda. Dove il turismo ha una storia” on 6 July at 18:00 at the Riva Congress Centre. Other events feature the urban project “C’era una volta: Riva d’altri tempi” from 17 July to 31 August, three autumn appointments on 5 October (Palazzo Martini), 9 October (Rocca) and a roundtable on 3 November at the Palazzo dei Congressi. There are also free resident experiences in June and September, including visits such as the Tagliata del Ponale (22 June and 21 September), plus a competition for a new tourism poster, with selected works displayed at the MAG from mid-October.
