Garda Trentino White Voices Children’s Choir Launches in Arco and Riva

The civic music schools of Arco and Riva del Garda, under the patronage of their respective Councils for Culture, are organizing the “Garda Trentino White Voices Choir” (“Coro Voci Bianche del Garda Trentino”). This is a choir of white voices dedicated exclusively to children from second grade to first year of middle school, which will hold its activities at the Municipal Casino of Arco. The rehearsals will take place in classrooms recently made available by the Music School.

Participation and Teaching

Participation is completely free and is open after passing an aptitude test. The activity will be supported both technically and organizationally by the two schools. The young choir members will be guided by teachers with diplomas in choral activities and specialized in educational activities for children, exploring singing as an expression of joy, as a means to develop social skills, and to have fun in a smart and educational way.

Repertoire and Goals

The repertoire will range from classical to spiritual, jazz, and regional, Italian, and international folk songs. The initiative aims to fill a gap within the cultural and educational activities for children.
