Garda’s Food and Wine Scene Drives Growth and Innovation in 2025

Consorzio Garda DOC closed 2025 with growth attributed to a focused strategy on gastronomy and the promotion of the territory’s wines. The consortium singled out wine-driven events and targeted promotion as the main drivers of this result.

Activities in 2025 included participation in Vinitaly and Garda Wine Stories, television initiatives and European projects aimed at strengthening local identity. The consortium updated its production regulations to modernize the denomination, its Vinitaly stand led by enologist Sissi Baratella provided interactive visitor experiences, and the three-year “Eccellenze DOP” project expanded presence in Italy, Germany and Austria.
