Garda’s Sirmione Hosts First Rock Showcase Featuring Local and International Bands
The Comune di Sirmione organizes the First Rock Showcase in Lugana, dedicated to the young bands of Garda. On stage by the lake, in the large green space along the Lugana promenade in Sirmione (behind the church), four bands will perform each evening.
Unlimited beer provided by LA TANA DEL GUFO. GREEN AREA and Dipende, the promoters of the event, are expecting many attendees to the late summer appointment that concludes the Garda rock events. Concert start time is 8:30 PM.

The bands and their characteristics
The Zero Kelvin “At zero Kelvin temperature, there’s no friction. We seek fluid music that flows… without additives or lubricants.” A band of six members featuring two vocalists, Jessita and Marcelo Belletti (former vocalist of Lupus Infabula). Their repertoire includes Rock-Funk-Pop-Grunge. Zero Kelvin is a new band, but its members are seasoned professionals and very talented. They’ve combined their extensive musical experiences and knowledge to create a powerful sound.
Stone Waller The participation of this trio “excites me” greatly, especially now that they’ve returned to their roots with the original lineup, which only Michele, a singer and guitarist with an unmistakably Endrixian style, has reconfirmed. His charismatic leadership on stage is admirable. What can I say: long live Hard Rock!
The local bands
Loderia, a Desenzano-based group, radiates glam styles and atmospheres, with a violent charge of transgression and distorted guitars. Last winter, they recorded at “RITMO&BLU” studio in Castagna, Pozzolengo. Their album, released last month, is titled “The Velvet Farm Album”. You can find and request it at the Disco Volante record store in Desenzano, located on S. Maria street.
Horlà — the soul of this band is blues, but their style of playing is rock-grunge. The singer Alessandro Razzi’s voice is beautiful, very warm, sometimes reminiscent of Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam because of the passion he puts into it.
The drummer Gabri probably isn’t only committed with his band; he will also need to replace dear friend Giovannino, the drummer of Loderia, who is serving in the air force in Ghedi.
News and Changes
Dunev There are some new developments on the horizon for this Garda band. For now, their drummer Cristian Antonioli, who had been with them from the beginning, is no longer playing with them. He has been replaced by Claudio Sinibaldi, coming from the Pavia Death Metal scene. He seems to have integrated very well and brought fresh energy to the group.
Additionally, there are new changes to their songs, with arrangements aimed at greater impact and new unreleased tracks, such as “Stella Nera”.
