A collision between a van and a car occurred this morning, May 14, shortly after 8 AM along the Gardesana road, in the section connecting Toscolano Maderno to Gargnano. The van, for reasons still under investigation, struck a Panda while heading north. Following the impact, the van overturned onto the opposite side of the road. Three young individuals, aged between 26 and 28, who were occupants of the vehicles involved, were transported to the hospital in yellow code by ambulances from the Volontari del Garda and Roè Volciano.
The rescue operations also involved the Fire Brigade of Salò, while traffic was managed with alternating one-way access by the local police of Toscolano Maderno. Significant queues and delays were reported between Toscolano and Gargnano due to the accident until around 9:30 AM.
