Gardesana Navigazione Launches 2026 Summer Schedule With Expanded Connections
Starting Saturday, May 16, 2026, the summer timetable for the public navigation service on Lake Garda goes into effect and runs through Sunday, October 4, 2026. The plan significantly expands services and strengthens connections, with the introduction of hydrofoil and catamaran services to offer faster, more frequent trips, aiming to reduce car traffic along Gardesana occidentale and orientale during the peak season.
The schedule maintains core services and adds vehicle transport on the Maderno–Torri route in both directions. Daily longitudinal links between Desenzano, Peschiera, and Riva are preserved, and numerous circular itineraries will serve the main lakeside towns. The municipal initiative “Know Your Lake” continues through 2026, offering up to 20% fare concessions on the longest route for residents. Operational management is handled by Navigazione Laghi and the Operations Directorate.
