On October 28, 2024, several significant events marked the day. The Province of Brescia announced that restoration works are planned on the SP 9, which was affected by landslides on September 9, to ensure two-way traffic, particularly at kilometers 12+200 and 13+000. For further details, read the article Senso unico alternato sulla SP9 a Gargnano per lavori urgenti.

Additionally, a landslide was reported on Mount Comer in Gargnano, raising concerns, although fortunately, no damage to people or structures was reported. More information is available in Frana a Gargnano: nessun danno, sopralluoghi in corso.

On another note, the City Council of Castelnuovo del Garda approved a project for the safety of the Campanello harbor, with an investment of 212,000 euros. In the social sphere, the Santa Lucia Biancoblu Association launched a toy collection for pediatric wards in Brescia hospitals.

An incident involving a bear occurred in Vezzano, where the animal was hit by a car, but the driver sustained no serious injuries. Meanwhile, a weekend of solidarity for cystic fibrosis was held at the Leone Shopping Center, and rescue operations took place in Sirmione for a young woman who had jumped into the lake.
