On October 28, 2024, the province of Brescia was the scene of several significant events. The Province has planned restoration work on SP 9, which was affected by landslides on September 9, in order to restore two-way traffic between kilometers 12+200 and 13+000. In Gargnano, another landslide on Mount Comer has raised concerns among the local population, but no damage to people or structures has been reported. Gargnano has also received 360,000 euros from the Region for safety measures aimed at mitigating the risk of collapses in the Sinsegla area.

Locally, the Castelnuovo del Garda Council approved an investment of 212,000 euros for the Campanello harbor, while the Santa Lucia Biancoblu Association has launched a toy drive for pediatric wards in Brescia hospitals. A weekend of solidarity for cystic fibrosis continued at the Leone Shopping Center, and assistance was requested in Sirmione for a young person who had jumped into the lake.

An intriguing incident occurred in Vezzano, where a bear crossed paths with a vehicle, fortunately without consequences for the driver. Finally, regarding tourism, Lazise hosted the conference “The Future is Open Air,” which showed positive growth signals for the sector.
