During the prestigious event of Vinitaly, taking place at the Lombardy Region pavilion, students from the Caterina de’ Medici Hotel Institute in Gardone Riviera have stood out for their active role in promoting Brescia wines. The school principal, Marialuisa Orlandi, emphasized the importance of the institute’s presence in the Lombardy regional lounge, where four students from the Service department, hailing from Gardone Riviera and Desenzano, are supported by teachers Luca Scamardella and Artur Vaso. These young talents are tasked with managing the space dedicated to hospitality during the event.
This initiative not only highlights the wines of the region but also provides students with a unique opportunity for practical learning in the hospitality sector. Interacting with industry experts and visitors in the food and wine sector represents a significant educational experience for the participants, helping to enhance the professional skills of the involved students.
