Gardone Riviera Mausoleum Revamped with Modern LED Lighting System

The Vittoriale’s Mausoleum has been illuminated through a new agreement between the Vittoriale Foundation and A2A, aimed at restoring and enhancing access to the historic site. This collaboration, renewed in Gardone Riviera, builds on a 2016 project supported by the Lombardy Region, which previously only illuminated parts of the complex.

The project includes cleaning the mausoleum’s stonework and installing a low-impact LED lighting system with smart controls to optimize energy use. The mausoleum, designed by Gian Carlo Maroni and located at the highest point of the Vittoriale, houses the crypt of Gabriele d’Annunzio, Fiuman legionaries, and other notable figures.
