On Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 5:30 PM, the third event of the musical series “Awaiting Sounds and Flavors of Garda” will take place, celebrating local music and culture with a particular focus on musicals. The event, organized by the Municipality of Gardone Riviera under the artistic direction of Maestro Serafino Tedesi, will be held in the enchanting Wimmer Hall at Palazzo Casinò.
A Journey into the World of Musicals
The event aims to offer the audience a captivating journey through the masterpieces of the musical genre. Spectators will have the opportunity to listen to iconic pieces by composers such as Leonard Bernstein and Andrew Lloyd Webber, featuring famous titles like West Side Story and Jesus Christ Superstar. Additionally, contemporary hits that have marked the history of musical cinema will be presented, including films like Grease, The Greatest Showman, La La Land, and many more.
The Cast of the Event
The evening will be brought to life by the Infonote Pop Ensemble, composed of talented musicians: Marcello Salcuni on guitar, Alessandro Zezza on keyboards, Carmelo Isgrò on bass, and Rino Di Pace on drums. The lead vocals will be provided by Matteo Becucci and Elena Giardina.
Matteo Becucci
Winner of the second season of X Factor in 2009, Becucci portrayed the role of Judas in the renowned musical Jesus Christ Superstar. He is currently a vocal coach on the television show Tale e Quale Show, hosted by Carlo Conti on Rai 1.
Elena Giardina
As the daughter of an artist, Elena Giardina has already established a successful career, collaborating with well-known artists such as Fabrizio Bosso and Biagio Antonacci. Since 2017, she has been the solo singer of the Super Big Band directed by Maestro Fio Zanotti and is actively involved with Infonote srl and the Archimia String Quartet. In 2019, their version of the song “Toxic” was selected for the soundtrack of the film Promising Young Woman, which won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay in 2021.
