On the occasion of the World Drowning Prevention Day, the municipalities of Gardone Riviera and Toscolano Maderno are joining forces to promote water safety through an important awareness initiative. The event will take place on Friday, July 25th at 10:00 AM at the Lido Villa delle Rose beach in Fasano, where a water rescue demonstration will be held with the participation of the Garda Volunteer Group and the Coast Guard. This activity aims to educate the public on the importance of drowning prevention, contributing to the development of a more aware and responsible lake culture.
The rescue demonstration is not merely a technical intervention but is an integral part of the Blue Flag Program, to which both municipalities actively adhere. The initiative is part of a national campaign involving all Blue Flag municipalities in Italy, emphasizing the importance of informing and educating about water safety. Citizens, families, tourists, and operators are invited to participate in large numbers to learn how to prevent water-related risks.
