Gardone Riviera Race Celebrates 20 Years with Competitive Run and Prizes

The “Ten Kilometers of Gardone Riviera” will take place today, starting and ending at Piazza del Vittoriale. The running event, open to all, was established in 1976 by the sports center, then presided over by Libero Livotto. This year, commemorating the twentieth anniversary (some editions were not held), the organizers will also include a competitive race, featuring athletes of national caliber who will be awarded good prize money along with tasty jars of honey from beekeeper Roberto Iseppi. Assembly at 6:00 PM, race start at 7:30 PM.

The Course and Categories

The route passes through Morgnaga, Gardone Sotto, Villa Alba, Casinò, Fraole, and Vittoriale. Length: 3 kilometers and 700 meters. Adults and competitive runners will run two laps; children and less experienced runners will complete just one. A one-kilometer segment is planned for children.
