On Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September, Gardone Riviera will mobilise for the environment with two days dedicated to cleaning the town, in particular the lake shallows and the parks. The initiative, titled “Puliamo il mondo e i fondali”, invites residents to take part voluntarily in two separate events.
Saturday 20 September, from 8:30 to 12:00, the focus will be on cleaning the lake shallows. The meeting point is Lungolago G. D’Annunzio, described as the main collection area for anyone wishing to join the activity. The organisers emphasise that citizen participation is key to keeping the lake environments, which characterise the area, clean and well maintained.
Sunday 21 September is dedicated to Gardone Riviera’s parks. The day begins at 9:30 with departure from Piazza Wimmer and continues until 11:00. The municipal administration has encouraged residents to join the initiative to care for the local area and has made all details available via the Comune di Gardone Riviera website.
