The countdown has begun for the opening of the new Community House in the former hospital of Gargnano, an important socio-health facility intended to serve the entire upper lake region. This project, which represents the first Community House ready on Lake Garda among the 34 planned in the province, aims to ensure essential services for residents, considering the distance from the nearest hospitals in Gavardo and Desenzano. The renovation works have been completed, and now we are only awaiting the certification of the systems, with the goal of restoring the outpatient clinics by the end of the year. The new facility will offer a comprehensive range of socio-health services, including continuity of care (medical guard), blood sampling points, and family nurse services. Currently, these services are temporarily located in the former art school on Via Repubblica, but Mayor Giovanni Albini emphasizes that this logistical sacrifice was necessary to keep services operational in Gargnano. In the coming days, a meeting will be held with Asst Garda to further discuss the development of the project, which promises to become a crucial reference point for the local community and improve access to outpatient medical care in the area.
