Gargnano Launches Senior Social Hub to Promote Community Engagement

Gargnano has officially opened its new Community Center on April 10, serving as a social hub aimed at fostering community engagement and combating social isolation, especially among seniors. The project, initiated by Social Services Councillor Fabiana Bonomini, features a dedicated staff member to welcome participants and coordinate activities, including sharing moments, support, and entertainment.

The space will operate Monday through Friday with seasonal hours: from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM from April to October, and from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM from November to March. It offers a welcoming environment for socializing, recreational activities, card games, and community events designed to encourage participation and inclusion.
