Gargnano Reads 2026 Unveils Publishing Fair Schedule Featuring Workshops and Literary Talks

Gargnano’s Culture Department and Municipal Library have announced the calendar for the book fair “Gargnano che legge,” set for Saturday 30 and Sunday 31 May 2026. Admission is free for all activities, which run daily from 10:00 to 18:00 across multiple municipal venues around Lake Garda, featuring book presentations, musical performances, awards, and children’s workshops.

On Saturday, events begin at 10:30 with the official inauguration at the Chiostro di San Francesco, followed by “Musica nel Chiostro” at 15:00. At 16:00, Alice Basso will present “Le ottanta domande di Atena Ferraris” at the Sala ex Palazzo Municipale, while at 16:30 in Piazza Feltrinelli, “ABICAR LIBRI: il doblò delle storie” offers a reading lab for children aged 3–8. Sunday programs open at 10:30 with “Ci vuole orecchio!” in the Sala ex Palazzo Municipale, and music in the Chiostro di San Francesco at 11:30 and 15:00. The afternoon includes the awards ceremony for “Passeggiando tra le Limonaie da Lawrence ad oggi” at 16:00, followed by “Viaggio a Fabilè” at 16:30 in the Sala ex Palazzo Municipale and a round-table, “Giallisti a confronto,” at 17:00 in the Chiostro.
