Gavardo and public safety: intensified checks by the Local Police
Gavardo, Public Safety: Local Police Intensify Checks. In response to requests from Mayor Davide Comaglio, the Local Police of Valle Sabbia has initiated a strengthening of checks in the historic center and sensitive areas of the municipality. Thanks to collaboration with the Carabinieri of Gavardo and Salò, significant interventions have been carried out, resulting in the issuance of three eviction orders for disruptive behavior and four administrative fines for consuming alcohol in public arcades. Additionally, an access door to an abandoned building, considered a refuge for problematic individuals, has been closed.
The operations also included inspections in public parks, where cocaine was seized from an individual identified as a user. Road traffic checks led to the reporting of two individuals for driving under the influence and one fine for driving with a suspended license. The Local Police have submitted requests to the Prefect for restrictive measures against individuals deemed dangerous, while the enhancement of control activities will continue until the end of the year, thanks to regional funding aimed at ensuring greater safety in the Valle Sabbia area.
