Gavardo, drug dealing: man arrested in the act
Gavardo: Drug dealer attempts to dispose of drugs by throwing them down the drain: reported An anti-drug operation took place in Gavardo, where the Local Police of Valle Sabbia reported a man for possession with intent to traffic drugs. The intervention stemmed from an investigation that revealed suspicious activities related to illicit trade. When the officers decided to conduct a check, the man, noticing the presence of law enforcement, locked himself inside his home and attempted to dispose of the packages containing cocaine by throwing them down the sewage drain.
However, his attempt was unsuccessful: to recover the substance thrown into the pipes, the intervention of the Fire Brigade was necessary, who collaborated with the Local Police in retrieving the material. A total of 179 drug packages were recovered, which are currently being analyzed by investigators. During a subsequent search of the premises, the officers found additional cocaine hidden in the residence, along with cutting agents used for packaging the doses.
