A young man was stopped by the Local Police in recent days during a routine check between Gavardo and Villanuova sul Clisi, after being observed behaving suspiciously in a high-powered vehicle. The officers, upon further inspection, discovered several grams of drugs inside the car. The driver admitted that the substance was his and stated that he had used it shortly before getting behind the wheel.
Despite his admission, the young man refused to undergo medical tests to verify his physical and mental state, which led to his being reported under current regulations. As a result, the officers revoked his driving license and seized the vehicle. The intervention of the Local Police highlighted the importance of road checks in the fight against drug use while driving.
