The National Aerobatic Team will be the highlight of a special event on March 26 at the “Luigi Olivari” Airport in Ghedi. The event, titled “Youth Day 2025,” will take place from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and represents an important opportunity to connect young people with the world of the Italian Air Force, coinciding with the 102nd Anniversary of its founding.

An Event for the New Generations

The initiative targets schools and youth in the area, aiming to strengthen the bond between local institutions and the younger generations. Throughout the day, fundamental values such as unity and national identity will be shared through activities that highlight the history and traditions of the Italian Air Force. In particular, the professional skills of the 6th Wing and the National Aerobatic Team, commonly known as the “Frecce Tricolori,” will be showcased.

Air Show and Interactive Activities

Visitors will have the opportunity to witness an extraordinary air show featuring performances by the National Aerobatic Team. A dedicated area will be set up within the airport where attendees can also admire the PA-200 “Tornado” and F-35 “Lightning II” aircraft during their training maneuvers.

In addition to the air shows, there will be exhibition stands offering interactive simulations, flight decks, and information about the missions carried out by the 6th Wing. These activities aim to provide participants with a deeper understanding of the various professions that characterize service in the Italian Air Force.

Free Participation and Fundraising

Participation in the event is free; however, attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to a fundraising campaign for the charitable project “A Gift from the Sky for Bambino Gesù,” aimed at helping children in need of medical care. To access the Aerobase, registration online on the dedicated website will be required until the maximum number of participants is reached. School groups and student organizations can also access the event via organized buses.

The event on March 26 thus represents an important opportunity not only to learn more about the Italian Air Force but also to experience a day filled with emotions and collective significance.
