MANTOVA: PROGRESS ON THE GOITO BYPASS PROJECT The Province of Mantova has announced significant advancements regarding the Goito Bypass, following a meeting between Chief Secretary Mario Cancellieri and representatives from Concessioni Autostradali Lombarde (CAL) in Milan. During the meeting, held at the request of Provincial President Carlo Bottani, it was confirmed that CAL has completed the necessary integrations to the Definitive Project, overcoming one of the crucial technical steps. The road network in Mantova will greatly benefit from this project, with the Conference of Services scheduled for June and a tender planned for spring 2026.
The timeline suggests that if everything proceeds smoothly, the required approvals could be obtained by September 2025, followed by the finalization of the Executive Project in early 2026. Francesco Aporti, the Delegate Councillor for Major Works of the Province of Mantova, expressed satisfaction with a project aimed at addressing traffic issues in the most important road junction north of the provincial capital.
