Grape Festival in Bardolino: tradition and food and wine celebration

The Grape Festival returns to Bardolino from October 2 to 6, promising five days of celebrations dedicated to tradition, wine, and gastronomy. Now in its 94th edition, the event will kick off on Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony along the Lungolago Cornicello and the opening of food and wine stands, where visitors can taste the renowned Bardolino DOC and local specialties. Throughout the festival, concerts and performances will enliven the historic squares and the lakeside, transforming Bardolino into a vibrant stage for artists of various genres. Mayor Daniele Bertasi emphasized that the festival is not only a gastronomic event but also a symbol of the community’s cultural roots. Over thirty stands will offer traditional dishes and local wines, while activities for children and creative workshops will enhance the experience. Highlights will include traditional grape stomping, a parade through the historic center, and a pyromusical fireworks show scheduled for Sunday evening. The event aims to engage a diverse audience, thus celebrating Bardolino’s identity through its typical products and culture. Italian Version
